All new users start as Contributors, and then they can rank up to Author and Editor based on the quality/popularity of their works/posts.
Requirements to become a Contributor
- A WordPress.com account.
Features of the Contributor
- Access to our chat channels with green color name.
- Can write their own posts and submit them to be approved for publishing. Before writing your post, make sure you read the Guide.
- Cannot upload skins to our servers but can use hosts like mediafire or googledrive to host skins (wxy/zip). Images must be hosted in your own wordpress storage.
- Good quality posts will be approved to appear on our website.
- High quality posts will be also added to our facebook page.
Requirements to become an Author
- A certain degree of popularity and quality from your posts. Presentation of your work is a very important factor.
- Quality of the works and presentation is a very important factor. Correct use of tags, categories, “read more” code and featured image.
Features of the Author
- Access to our chat channels with blue color name.
- Access to the premium channel #Authorium.
- Can write, edit and publish their own posts.
- Can upload media, images and skins to our website. We still strongly recommend you use your own wordpress storage for images.
- Copyright protection DMCA for extremely popular posts/pages (map skins only).
- Your posts are automatically published to our Twitter page (if you check this inside the post options).
- High quality posts will be also added to our facebook page.
- Can receive money every month, if the Author is at least 16 years old and have a valid PayPal account.
Requirements to become an Editor
- Loyalty and charisma inside the team.
- Quality of the presentation.
Features of the Editor
- Has all of the Author’s benefits plus: Can edit all posts, pages, comments, categories, tags and links.
- Access to our chat channels with purple color name.
- Access to the premium channel #Editorium.
- Can approve and publish posts made by Contributors.
- Can create pages (for example: mapskins.com/yourpage).
