2 Versions available:
There are two versions for that map: 2010 and 2011.
The 2010 version is simple: there is just the light of the sun in a winter environment.
The 2011 version is more rich: there are more lights (especially fire lights). This version has also a sunset ambience.
Play in the 2010 version if you want to play in a clean map or play in the 2011 version if you want to play in a more charmed environment.

Issues:
There are some issues in this map:
There are two walls in the map that doesn’t exist in the actual map. These walls were deleted in Nami patch last year. You know that this map is old and this is why there are these walls.
You can run over these walls, the first time it’s embarrassing because we have the reflex to avoid these walls, but after some games, it will be okay!
The second issue is only for the 2011 version. There is a texture bug at the spawn (for the blue team). It’s just a visual bug.
Moreover, don’t set your “Environment settings” on “High” because there is a texture bug in the mid lane. If you want more quality on the map, set your settings on “Very High”.
Snowfall:
You can add a snowfall effect in this map:
- Install the map (2010 or 2011 version/LD or SD).
- When it’s installed (in SIU), install the snowfall extension.
Make sure you don’t install the snowfall extenstion before you install the map, if you do that, the snowfall will not appear.
Download:
This map doesn’t work anymore since Riot released the new Summoner’s Rift.

I downloaded this map in the past 3 months and it worked fine, with snowflakes and all the rest. I reinstalled LoL and I’ve never play on it again. Now, when i try to play on the Sunset SD version, my eyes are bleeding: i don’t know why but the map is sooooo bright, i don’t get the same result as the first time. Now, all I have is a very bright map without the winter music (I know that the snowfall effect do not work anymore).
I did not change anything in my PC, it’s still the same. I read all the comments and nobody is experiencing my problem.
Do you know why i’m getting this issue ?

En fait les liens ne sont pas les vrais problèmes, le truc c’est que Riot a changé certains fichiers de la faille de l’invocateur au cours des derniers patchs dont un fichier qui était utilisé pour les maps “Original Harrowing Rift” et “Original Winter Rift”. Ce fichier réglait la luminosité de la map afin qu’elle soit correcte (pour la map Harrowing elle était réglée à un faible niveau par exemple). Comme ce fichier n’existe plus dans le LoL actuel, il n’y a plus de modification de luminosité, elle reste inchangée.
Donc au final, tu vois la map sans aucune réduction de luminosité ce qui est un peu … merdique.
Donc même en voulant télécharger la version “Sunset” le problème sera le même.
Au sujet de la musique c’est un peu le même problème, RIot a mis en place un nouveau “moteur audio” dans un des derniers patchs, et du coup la musique a disparue.
Donc désolé, cette map n’est plus utilisable et, je pense qu’elle sera totalement buggée quand la nouvelle faille de l’invocateur arrivera.

I can’t download this map at all. I’m trying to download it on Google Chrome and a blank page comes up, nothing else. Please help!

It works with Firefox all the time for me.
Here’s what I do:
1. Click download
2. Blank page -> click toolbar for blocked popup
3. Choose file save path to SIU (the actual SIU that you would open to install skins)
4. ???
5. Profit.

By toolbar, I mean address bar. Once it brings you to a blank page, there is a shield icon. Click that and click the arrow with the button labeled "Keep Blocking". From this point on you have to click the down arrow for more options, then you click "Disable Protection on This Page".

I click the link to download, but it’s just blank. No pop up. No download prompt. I’m running Firefox. What might be stopping the download from showing up entirely? Any ideas?

I finally got the link working by disabling security in firefox. The popup now appears to open the skin with SIU but nothing happens when I click ok? I have SIU open, as soon as I click ok it opens the SIU window but nothing happens, all is just blank

oh damn i have reply on a other comment about dropbox (sry for spamming) just not look my e-mail. now dropbox.com is acces (bad eng sry) but some person got problem with the synchro with files on dropbox, i have ddl the NOIR RIFT skin with mega and it’s working perfect, 2 possibility are jsut the dropbox link not available with the update of siu or just the dropbox synchro down with your files

Dude i downloaded this rift but wrongly i deleted the SIU folder after that i installed SIU again but this time i cant download when i clicked on links a page coming and i select Skin Ä°nstaller Ultimate after that SIU appears but nothing happens.Can u help me because i downloaded one time and i want to download again .PLS HELPPP

Hello, Love this mod! Once I figured out how to actually download through the application rather than assuming it was a file download I got everything working. But the map feels really lack luster without snowfall. I know it’s broken at the moment but is there any future possibility that it will be fixed? Thank you for the wonderful map skin!

Hey none of the links on this website work. They all just reload the same page. I’m using Chrome, currently updated. It’s been like this for a while now, and I’d really like to download more skins. You should read the download tutorial before of this, you need to have SIU open in order to start the download.

Hey. After patch 4.8 i can’t use snowfall addon. Everytime when i try to run lol i’ve got bug splat pop up. It does work without snowfall addon, but i’d realy like to use it.

Hello. If you are downloading a map made by Chewbacca, I heard last night that his host is having some problems, in the meanwhile you can try to download maps made by me (Yurixy).

It’s wonderful. But can you fix these issues about the walls? Sometimes, when I take a combat nere there, I forget to know that these wall had been removed, and you know, I waste my flash like a donkey :D

Haha! I’m sorry, I don’t know how to remove these walls, it’s normally possible but extremly hard because we haven’t a software which can do that. Maybe if someone make a software, we could fix, but currently we can’t!

I usually just see the line of sight/fog of war and if something is blocking it, it’s a real wall :P

I get a bug splat every time a new patch comes out. I found it usual and always reinstalled a skin, but this time it does not work, and fixing crashes via SIU works but it turns my map into a mess. I use Original Winter Rift v2 SD (which is great btw). Any help would be appreciated :)

Yeah you can test to install the extension for Snow Rift. Make sure Snow Rift is installed before you install the snowfall extension.
