Important details:
There are two walls in the map that doesn’t exist in the actual map. These walls were deleted in Nami patch last year. You know that this map is old and this is why there are these walls.
You can run over these walls, the first time it’s embarrassing because we have the reflex to avoid these walls, but after some games, it will be okay!

Hello, is there ANY possible way to make this map work even with the new map? Even if you have to walk through walls where the gates are, or its glitched, i will still love it. ive been waiting to play the original map for 4 months and i still got the dl.dropboxusercontent.com thing which only downloads originalsummonerrift.into in the siu with absolutley no map files *and yes i clicked on the shield icon on chome …. IE …… and even firefox*
season 5 will start in less than a month ;( … i want to revisit this map at least once before its too late

Hi, this map doesn’t work anymore since Riot released the new map, maybe in the future we’ll be able to play on the old map again.. But for now that’s not possible! I updated all SR articles so people will now know the sad truth :( Sorry.

I was having problems with download links too, but for me its working now. Just open te link with Firefox (Chrome doesnt work) click on the shield in your address bar and set it to disable security for this page. That made it work for me.
I was having FPS problems also, having between 30-40 before using this map. Now I’m getting a steady 55-60 and it drops to 45 in teamfights. Really a big improvement!
Downloading the minion skin also helps.

Hey when i download it i have to allow the script through and everything seems fine but when i click ok my SIU does open but nothing happens it just opens nothing seems to be installed at all

So i tried to download the map from the site.thing is sui tried to install the map as soon i opened the site.Well then i installed it but when i opened lol from sui the map wasnt working :/ any tips?I think it is that i must put a folder in sui or something that it said after the installation

Uh, I just made wallofgrass.dds and brush_sr.dds, if that’s what you’re asking.

It won’t work because we have to modify the model (and not only the texture).

Okay, I might have not been clear enough. I took the wallofgass.dds from the Crystal Scar (because they use the old brush), I took the biggest leaf and made it fit into the Summoner’s Rift wallofgrass.dds. So it has the texture of the old one, but the model is still the new one.

Hey bro. The snowfall effect for winter rift is wonderful. I realy love it. I have an idea about making rain effect for summoner rift like the snowfal one. It’s perfect if you can design it for us, and the map is going to have a tropocal climate :D

The difference is only the resolution of textures: for SD the resolution is the same than the original map, for LD the resolution are divided by two (x0.5). Play in a LD map should increase FPS in game.

remember that they redesigned the bushes in the preseason patch? how did you remove them from this version, and not the wall from the pre-Nami patch?

Hello, I had luck! Simply, because new bushes are not integrated in the same way than old bushes. I mean that new bushes are ‘characters’ and not 3D elements of the map. It makes sense because new bushes are moving when you go in so, this is why they are considered as ‘characters’.

Hello, you can’t get exactly the same map without walls! But, there is an old version of this map : Vintage Rift (similar to this map but uncomplete) which not contains these 2 walls. You can access to this map in the “Archive” category!

Olá Mariya, este mapa é uma skin original da Riot e foi trazido por Chewbacca. Na época que o jogo usava essa skin, tinha aquelas paredes que você precisava dar a volta nelas, mas eles removeram nos últimos anos. Ainda não descobrimos como removê-las dessas skins originais (halloween e summoner antiga), por tanto é só um bug visual, você pode andar por cima delas.

Hello! Unfortunately it’s not possible to render the map as an 3D object. If u want to play with camera rotation, you should test with LoL Replay but i don’t think you will exactly find what you are looking for. By the way, i’m on EUW server, so i can’t add you in LoL ^^
