Install
You can install this skin with Wooxy:
1. Download either the DAY VERSION, SUNSET VERSION or NIGHT VERSION.
2. In Wooxy, click “Skins” > “Import skin” > “Add package” and select the downloaded WXY file.
3. Your skin is now imported in Wooxy, you can install it by selecting it in the list and clicking “Install”.

Sorry to say this, but, it’s highly probable that Riot will release the new Summoner Rift before the Christmas, and depending on the date, we won’t have time to make the new skin for the map for the time. For some map skins, we can take up to one month to make it.

My Bitdefender detect an unsafe website tho. So when the blank dropbox page is open it automatically blocks the “unsafe” script, also google chrome said it’s unsafe. So maybe its a Virus? Or just upload it on MEGA or MEDIAFIRE or something like that, that we download the .zip?

It’s just javascript that interacts with SIU, not virus. We are not uploading the skins on other hosts because it goes against our terms of service, but we will try to provide new ways to get the skins… soon™.

I’ve been trying to install their maps and only has fucionado me is the new crack 1.1.2 (I think that’s because we do not use Siu here), I wanted and tried downloading any other map but only download 3 files to me, they appear in siu :

After you download those 3, I get an error, it tells me: Error: Not Many Files Found. I tried deleting Siu and download it again, I’ve also tried to download other maps, and I get the same thing, I researched on the internet and I have not found any solution

I can’t download it! I’ve tried everything - restarting both my web browser and SIU , clicking the little shield icon in the top right and selecting “Load unsafe script” or installing the extension (I’m using Chrome btw).
In the end the result is the same - SIU just pops up and nothing happens or the web page just refreshes. Can we have a regular download that isn’t integrated with the program?
Also, if i restart Chrome after installing the extension, it disables it because it’s not from the Chrome Store.

Okay, for those of you who are having problems with the download links, here’s how to fix that. I’ve had the same problem.
Make sure SIU is open then open up chrome.
click on the download link. if your having a problem, it will bring you to a blank white page.
click on the shield in the top right corner. click load unsafe script. it will bring you back to the original page. click on the download link again and your done!

Usually, it don’t popup only if you checked the box to not appear anymore.
Maybe if you reinstall SIU in another folder, it corrects the problem?

Hello yurixy, i have a little problem installing this map skin. i follow all the steps with firefox, and when the installing window pop up i click on OK. it shows my SUI (which were open previously) but on SUI, nothing is installed. Please help .

For those who press the link and it takes them back to the same page here’s what you do.
1. Install SUI and run it.
2. Press “Use with websites” in SUI
3. Follow the steps to install the script to your browser
4. Return to this page and try to download again. It should prompt to open with SUI, if so then congrats! You have won!

Olá. Os links aqui interagem com o SIU, portanto ele deve estar aberto em modo administrador. Veja se isso resolve seu problema.
Alguns add-ons do browser também podem impedir o uso de javascript.

Isso as vezes acontece quando o patch da Riot muda algo na estrutura do jogo.
Tente usar os botões “Fix Skin Re-path” e “Fix Crashes after patch” em cada custom skin que você usa. Isso deve resolver o problema.

Não é normal a skin sumir da lista com o comando Fix Skin, só se você deletar ela.
Eu recomendo que você desinstale todas as custom skins que ainda tiver instaladas (se tiver) e use o Reparo do jogo (dentro do launcher no canto tem um ícone de reparo), o processo pode demorar bastante tempo dependendo do PC/Net.

So i downloaded the map and everything worked, but when i closed the client and relogged. LoL client “detected a corruption” and when it removed that “corruption” it was the map skin. Is this just my client or is this happening to others. I downloaded the LD Day snow map if that helps.

Wait.. he said “does work”, this means to me that the links works for Diego, but it doesn’t look like it’s working for “Plz Help me” seeing the last comments. As the tutorial said, it’s confirmed to work in both clean browsers Firefox/Chrome. If it’s not working for you in any of the browsers, try to reinstall one of the browsers or try to run Firefox in safe-mode. If nothing works, try to reinstall SIU. If that doesn’t work then I don’t know how to help.

Hi Yurixy.
I have SIU open and running. I click on the “Snow Rift – Day HD v3” link, and firefox tells me that the download needs to be opened with an application. I select “Skin Installer Ultimate.exe” from the list. After that, nothing happens. No downloading, no processing… nothing.
So I try something different. I right-click the “Snow Rift – Day HD v3” link and save the file manually. However, it downloads a 3kb .html file, not the 36.6mb .zip file I see in the tutorial video.

Hello. The tutorial video is outdated now. This site is being reworked and it has a different mechanic to install skins. I will create a new tutorial soon explaining how to do it. For now, I recommend you try other map skins, because the Snow Rift links are bugged with SIU where sometimes it doesn’t load, and sometimes it loads 3 files only. Sorry for the troubles, we are trying to fix this.

I downloaded the new 4.25 SIU. But I am still having the same problem where clicking on the “Totori SnowRift DayHDv3” link is downloading only a 3kb .html file, not a 36.6mb file. The 3kb .html file isn’t interacting with SIU at all.

Your browser probably has a no-script extension. Try to use the link with SIU open and using a clean browser, Firefox or Chrome with no extensions are confirmed to work.

Strange. Try to use another browser to see if it works (if you use Chrome, try with Firefox and vice-versa). This is most likely a browser configuration because it’s working for a lot of users. I will double check the link just in case.
Edit: Confirmed, it’s working normally for me the link: “SnowRift DayHDv3”.

Hello, download and open SIU, after it’s fully loaded, try to click a map link from here. It should load the map automatically into SIU. Links are confirmed to work in both Firefox/Chrome, check if your browser has a no-script add-on, it will cause the links to fail. In any case I will do a tutorial soon teaching how to do it, but it’s very, very simple. If you get any error message in SIU, post a screenshot here of your error or send an email to LGG (lordgregreg @gmail.com “without spaces”).

Check if SIU is loading the map (progress bar), if it says 3/3 files added, close that window and it will load up the map. We are working to fix that bug.

I reproduced your error here, some links appears 3/3 files added indeed, just click the X button to close that mini-window. Then wait for SIU to load all the maps files (should be around 89). Then it will go on normally.

Hey, i recently tried to get this map but i got an error on my SIU so it didnt install, (it got to around 20%), but i wasnt really sad about it, so i got into a game and now i have blue steps and snow patches here and there, but on SIU it never installed so i cant uninstall it pls help

Your best bet would probably be to follow a guide and install the map properly. Doing this will overwrite the incomplete files that you started installing previously while filling in the rest. After that, if for some reason you don’t like the map, uninstall it. That’ll remove everything.
The FAQ button above should help plenty. Other comments here contain a fair bit of information on getting the map working as well if you scroll down (or up, coming from where the reply button is..).
If all else fails, repairing or re-installing the game is an effective solution, but it really shouldn’t come to that.

Hello All. I can’t seem to get this specific map to work for some reason. Everything shows up blue — I tried reading through the comments but couldn’t find anything. I tried disabling/enabling the “Fix Skin Textures” and couldn’t get it to work. Winter Rift works perfect though! But, the Sunset one looks beautiful, and I’m super interested in getting it to work! Any advice please follow up here or add Katsu Senshi (NA). Thanks!

Hello Michael. The way the Snow Rift works is the same as Winter Rift, Winter Rift comes with some more extra files for particles, therefore it’s really strange to Snow Rift not to work. Are you using the HD version of Snow Rift? If yes, are you using the latest SIU 4.15 when installing it?

Hey, currently this is having issues for me. Either the game crashes, or the entirety of the map is blue as if the game is in an alpha/programming stage. I also have the Christmas Tree Nexus and Christmas Minions. I did select fix crashing after patches and it has not worked. Any advice, or is it something we just have to wait for since the Snowdown Showdown patch?

i agree, it would be awesome to get snowfall on this map too, the snowfall on wintermap is cool but it’s not enough snowfall, there should be snow everywhere :O . if you guys fix this someday, i’ll be sure to hit that donate button 😀 but anyways, keep up the awesome work!

The snowfall is a light one because of game performance. We tested with more, heavier snowfall and it reduces drastically the FPS.
I didn’t implant on Snow Rift for this year because I wanted my map to be more calm, smooth snow, a more relaxing without any changes to performance. (I will continue to make test to see if I will add new particles in the next versions)

As long Riot don’t do changes in the map, you are fine using SIU 4.15 in game 3.15. If they change it, you should uninstall custom skins before updating League.

Hello. You can see the differences of the versions in the FaQ Page. SAT is the same as Day but with 50% less saturation of colors, imagine that at 100% less saturation we have only black and white color. Less vivid colors can be good to eyes health depending on the hour/ambient you play.

Tried them out. Seems I’m a little behind, because these automated SIU files are convenient and awesome. Took me a second to notice I didn’t need to put them in a folder at first. Trying out skins in the future will be a much less tedious process this way =O. Decided to try out all 3 map variants since it was so quick, though I usually skip day.
Ended up liking Sunset Rift best here, followed by Night and then Day. Sunset is dimmer like Night versions tend to be, but the flames glow seems most noticeable here. It’s a great effect. Oh, the Frozen structures and minions are a nice touch as well (I forgot to download them at first myself). I see that you already suggested using Christmas minions with this skin in the changelog, but it might be worth mentioning the structures as well in case they’re overlooked. Unless they’re included with the map by default or something.

Looking forward to trying this in a bit. Especially liking the look of both Sunset and the new Night though. The night is darker, and sunset looks awesome. Curious though, this GeT thing..how is it downloading without even logging it in my downloads? Very cool and seemingly efficient feature there. I just haven’t seen anything like it. Chrome doesn’t even seem to notice it.
Nice way to organize all your skins in a convenient download location though. I’m also guessing that this gets around those people linking directly to MediaFire, so hopefully the site gets more visitors now :). You seem really good at whatever you go about doing, and with this being the only really well done site for custom League skins, more people should know about it.

GeT is an app I made in Flash, and yeah, your guess is right, the idea would be to fight against linkers (at least stop a part of them) in the hopes we get more visits. Yuri, actually there is a bug with christmas minions. it runs well and all but superminions have weird distortions. Their heads and right arms have really weird animations, u should check it :3

The map are just art files. Unfortunately I only know SIU as compatible skin installer, but the program is only for Windows. I don’t know if a skin installer for Mac exists, sorry.

Hey after i installed this skin, Snow Rift v2 there is a big “Snow” icon @ the base and then a little bit ice around the turret else everything is normal. How can i fix this so i can get the full map skin?

Hi Plax, the icon and the ice were intended to be that way. However, due to much feedback against the snowflake, I’m changing it in the next version.

Hey, how can i delete EVERYTHING about SUI ? i explain i tried this software, with a skin, then i deleted the skin and SIU but i didnt uninstalled the skin before…. it means that right now, i still have the skin when i play LoL, without even SUI, or ANY files about map skins.
Moreover when i install SUI again, the skin alread installed is not in the list, so i can’t delete it or whatever.
Tl:dr A FUCKIN SKIN MAP IS ACTIVATED AND I DUNNO HOW TO REMOVE IT. thx.

This is explained in both videos tutorials that I made plus all the FAQs in the articles.
To remove it just use the REPAIR function from your launcher and everything will goes back to normal.

The stone walk ways down the lanes are not showing for me for some reason, i have the newest version of the map though

If you are saying about only the stone path in the lanes, they not appear on Medium or below, only on Very High settings.

What is the estimated time of the fix for the HD version of the maps? I really want to use the HD version of the beach rift as I was using before patch 3.11.

We didn’t discover a way to fix the HD or LD versions. It looks like the game is not accepting different resolutions anymore.
I will continue trying to investigate further on this, though.

As far as I know, only some champions works (from what I heard), but I don’t know exactly which champs are working…

Hy I really enjoy your work, and I really want to try myself out. Could you give me some tips how to start? I am colorblind and I really want to make a version of the map with only the main parts of the game. It will be awsome if it could show turret nages or something.
I watched the night rift’s files to edit with DXTBmp but I need some help to see how it really works.

Sorry to say this but it’s impossible to draw any ranges on the map… textures do not work that way. You could try to play with the textures using ‘Paint NET’ and testing them in game.

(with razor game booster, I run at 40fps on lowest settings)

I’m not sure… this patch 3.11 made things very difficulty to fix. We are waiting for an automated way to fix this (or a new skin installer with auto-fix).
